This week's words are
empty
highway
ignored
across seven states
your highway chatter ignored
empty of meaning
ignored on highway
empty pockets, rotted teeth
homeless hitchhiker
empty brain ignored
boss likes short skirts, large cleavage
highway to success

Nice! Especially like the homeless one.
Thought you might want to check out a friend of mine who's also been doing the poem a day thing this month. His name's Greg. (gottabook.blogspot.com)
That third one hits hard, right on spot!
some bait is better than others.
Happy 3WW!
I like your haiku
It is very cool to read
Mine is really bad ;o)
lol - these are great. I can't do haiku - I've tried. Alas, my brain is too wordy....
:)
that second one makes me sad that there has to be so much fear involved in helping someone in this world....
Nice! I like the way you carried these!
All three excellent! And all conveying different ideas. I'm lucky to come up with one!
The first one cracks me up. Girlfriend? Sister? Wife? Random hitchhiker? Friend? Co-worker you're forced to travel with? The possibilities are endless!
I liked all four of your haiku and cringed at someone babbling all through a road trip. ;)
My kind of highway haiku!!!
the last haiku makes me laugh, thanks pjd
i can relate to all of them... the first i found absolutely hilarious b/c once in yr in the car all bets are off... how many times have i seen a person such as this a homeless hitchhiker... and the last well, geez, as an office administer we all get a kick outta this one..
Great and a fast rhythm.

Enjoy your day.
These are all great - some of your best. They are all true in their experience.
I needed the laugh that last one provided. Highway to success, indeed.
