haiku wednesday - April 29, 2009

This week's words are
opportunity
quarrel
service

A five syllable word! How exciting. I am sorry to all my 3WW friends, but work will keep me from visiting many people until at least later in the week. I hope you have a great week.

bad quarrel at home
opportunity to drink
hot bargirl service

service goes wide--OUT!
opportunity to rant
quarrel with the judge

they quarrel; I watch
he departs; she needs service...
opportunity!

It seems one man's quarrel is another's opportunity to get some.

My eyes have been opened to the world of haiku...

See, I give you a tough word and you hit it out of the park. Great stuff.

These are so true, powerfully honest and particularly well honed.

Awesome as always. But since we have self-developed this culture of picking up favorites on your blog... My pick would be the first one.

"self-developed this culture"? Alright, Aniket, now you're just showing off. ;)

It seems one man's quarrel is another's opportunity to get some.Ha! I was just waffling about picking #1 or #3 - and I usually don't read the comments first, because I don't want to be dissuaded from my own instincts, but in this case, I was lazy and read them, and Janey's made me laugh out loud.

So yea, I'm with Janey - and I love both #1 and #3, with 31 just baaaarelllly squeezing out the win.

Absolutely love the third piece. Everything you need to know in a few words, painting a complete picture.

Aerin,

Pete mentioned earlier that he couldn't picture us picking favorites among them. But we always do, right? :D

And I did say WE didn't I? Wont take the blame alone. You are a partner in crime too. lol
