This week's words are
allure
perch
vivid
I had good intentions, but I was unable to keep up with a poem a day during April. I blame jet lag. Still, I'm here for 3WW! The first just popped into my head; the second was inspired by a certain person in the plaza at the Louvre; the third was inspired by the souvenir salesmen crawling all over the place around the Eiffel Tower.
vivid rainbow hues
snagged by allure of a lure
is it perch or trout?
vivid Paris noon
long-leg girl on stone wall perch
knows her own allure
hawks descend from perch
allure the unsuspecting
with vivid trinkets

Excellent as usual - good play on words in first.
Superb as usual...
Though the second one makes my imagination do tricks on me thinking about what would the girl had looked like to give such an inspiration.
And since I missed to comment on a couple of your posts before... I've been meaning to say... you have a beautiful family... and it looks like you had one great trip. :-)
Hi PJD, like the first one the Rainbow Trout reference did it for me.
Paris, phew, my fave place, I bet the blossom was falling off the trees!
i loved the second one !! could almost imagine it !
Each has it's own character, flavor. Well done. Paris inspires.
These were all awesome...I especially enjoyed the last two because they were inspired in Paris and they took me there for just a moment. Enjoy your trip!
i REALLY love the first one! lure allure... it's great.
Truly loved the third one.

The first made me laugh out loud. The second was just lovely and the third very clever
Like the last one best.

These are each so PARIS. Love 'em.
Great place to be inspired. As always, enjoyed.
Feel free to come by. I don't bite and it'd be nice to hear from you.
ohh. i loved all three. '... knows her own allure' - this one's going round and round in my head :)
loved the first. i had tried to weave "lure" into my fishing poem but it was forced. Nicely done!
