haiku wednesday - Christmas Eve edition

This week's words are
faith
miracle
whisper

Happy holidays to all my friends and even everyone else. For your listening pleasure, here is a bit of Christmas Cheer in song. Sorry these are kinda weak... I'm in a hurry to get packed for our trip.

"please, God" they whisper
close eyes, bitter test of faith
field goal miracle

whisper a sled prayer
faith in snowstorm miracle
his sled sits idle

"like a miracle"
her lips whisper to my ear
"you were good, too, Faith"

You are the poet lariat. In a hurry, huh. Really, really good for 'in a hurry'. Have a good trip!

Happy Holidays!

I really am glad when you show up on the blogroll. I, too, find that last one just plain naughty fun.

My favorite is the second haiku. Maybe that's because it is so easy to identify with that idle sled living in Alabama.

For being in a hurry you did a great job. I like all three, but especially like the last one.

Last one was my favorite also.
