This week's words are
fickle
sparkle
wrinkle
Thanks to all who stopped by throughout the week. I did in fact get my luggage the next day... after my big meeting. What a week this has been. Insane busy. This week's words... they seem like three elves that didn't make it into a Christmas claymation special.
chilly day, hot night
eyes sparkle as sheets wrinkle
fickle as weather
wrinkle, crumple, toss
my prose has lost its sparkle
fickle muse, return!
slow, black swells sparkle
fickle winds wrinkle slack sails
time for a cool change

now i remember what always made 3WW so much fun,, your amazing haiku's... i am still looking for my muse too if it is any consolation......
Dang that muse! Fun as always.
(I was wondering about your luggage, thanks for the update.)
(Word verification is "horid.")
I suspect one of those is a lie - the middle one, I think :-)
Glad to hear you go your luggage back. You must have made an impression in the big meeting. :)
Loved them all though 2nd one should have made your nose grow a little longer. :)
I love the second verse the most, but I still think the elves were a better idea!!! =0)
Happy 3WW I played too!
I like your story on your 3ww comment, I certainly like the names
I like the second haiku as we all can relate to that
Hardly has the sparkle gone missing - I love the imagery in the third haiku, the vision is clear and vibrant.
These were all wonderful! And your elf story made me laugh out loud... :P
so enjoyable!
Like all of them
These are all fun, but I laughed out loud about the fickle muse. I've had a bit of trouble with my own lately.
Phew! And I thought my muse is fickle!
Next time write about the elves!

Many happy returns of the day Pete!
Aerin's stalking you (aren't you the lucky one). She's got a cake for you on her blog. So...
Hope it's a happy one filled with lots of love and joy (and whatever goodies you're wishing for).
happy birthday, friend;
may your days be filled with prose
and your nights, poetry
Hope your day is fantastic!
Thank you all for your comments! I had fun with the words this week.
Special thanks to those who like the elf story. Those who didn't see it, cruise over to the 3WW site and look for my comment.
Aniket! First of the day with a birthday wish here! Thank you!
Sarah, thanks for the very kind wishes, and for the notification of my stalker. I've gone over there.
BSP... what can I say? A birthday haiku to top all birthday haiku. Haikus? What is the plural of haiku?

Hey, Pete!
I was swinging by to see Haiku Wednesday, but looks like you haven't posted yet...
Wow, all these wonderful, kind comments! I've been working and traveling (for work) so much, that I didn't realize how many people were coming by. I do read every comment (they are emailed to me), but I don't always get to respond. Thank you to each of you who left a note (and also to those who lurk but don't leave your calling card).
