haiku wednesday - February 25, 2009

This week's words are
callous
interfere
persistent

No time this week. Gaakk. Composed all on the train. Running to meetings now.

persistent, callous
snow, sleet interfere with plans
endless winter cold

challenge, interfere
persistent pressure makes change
soothe my callous heart

persistent whining
callous mom lets kid run wild
should I interfere?

Warm fuzzy thoughts going out to thommyg (the owner of 3WW and Supreme Picker Of Words) and his dad, who is having health problems right now. Hang in there, man. We're all with you.

Love the Haiku here, all three and the question mark at the end - i like the way you make a point here.

The NaisaiKu.. Challenge!

Wow, Pete - for on the run, you're kicking hiney. For the first time, my brain tied - I loved both 2 and 3.

Nah, let them run wild. Kids running around? Applaud them.

Deep gratitude to everyone who's stopped by, especially to those who left a comment. Thank you. I am unable to visit other 3WW sites this week due to my day job (saving the world), which is taking a lot of time this week. Next week I hope to be back and make the rounds again.

It's been awhile but I always enjoy your haiku. I'm sure the wife could use you to run interference. lol

Wow; saving the world and poetry. You are a man of varied and subtle talents!

I liked your third poem best! Of course, it's a subject everyone can relate to...
