This week's words are
disarray
rabble
validate
Wow, these words are a harsh indictment of Obama's first week, eh? "The disarray of the bailout only serves to validate the screeches of the uneducated rabble." These words can go together in so many ways. I wish I could allow myself more than 17 syllables! With 8 taken, I've only 9 to play with. (I know, I know. Whine, whine, whine. Get over it already.)
disarray of socks
teen rabble play strip poker
validate moms' angst
tin soldier rabble
validate rebellion fears
hope in disarray
Paris disarray
the rabble validate us
let us keep our heads

Always a pleasure to see your submissions. Three good ones, once again.
The first one made me raise an eyebrow,I have a teenager...
kudos!!!
I liked them all!
Nifty 'ku and Am. sentence. The third haiku is my favorite - 'let us keep our heads' is a stark reminder that sheeple are lemminglike. Great job, as always.
i haven't been around in a while,, and now i realize what i have been missing... good show!!
Loved them all but the first made me chuckle as I too have a teen.
I love the first one too.'disarray of socks' - what a way to start a 'ku.
Oooooh, these are all good! If I have to pick (and I do), it's to be #2.
PJD,
What great haiku. I love the unexpectedness of the first haiku. I like the return to the burning barricades of Paris in what I cal "Liberté, Egalité, et Fraternité" in my mind. And I enjoy the second.
I think my favourite is the first for its fresh use of the words. Well done.
First one. Cute and nice
Liked the first one best!
3WW: mysticism
loved the first one! i never participated in such shenanigans. but the imagery of socks in disarray is fun.
I am partial to power of distilled poetry but I don't always have the skill to pull it off. You do. Thanks.
yeppers on obama's first week... had to laugh, tho i don't think thrz none worse than a soldier's hope in disarray and valid our headz..yes, this is good.. just as kuz should be....
lol...as a Mom of a teen, I got a real kick out of the first one. :~)
