haiku wednesday - May 20, 2009

This week's words are
efficient
optimize
treacherous

A whole week has gone by? Holy shme. And May is half over and I've not yet done my 1,000 words for Aerin. (Though I did edit a section of about 2,500 words... does that count, Aerin?)

optimize word use
treacherous syllable count
efficient haiku

must be efficient
optimize everything now!
a treacherous slope?

no treacherous words
an efficient kind of love
you optimize me

I like them all, but the first is my favorite (and I read them while participating in a call-in press conference for a Senator - three cheers for the mute button).

The third is most romantic and I like romance--despite my writing but the third speaks to me most

Loved all of 'em. They are all so very different from one another and great in their own sense.

Fine job! You never fail to amaze/amuse me with the depth and fullness of your haiku...

editing only merits word count with a significant enough bribe - so, nope, sorry (although you have til the end of the month to think of one)

Yeah, I think the first one says it all for me.
Nicely!!

Like 'em all - love the third.

P.S. I'm glad it really is Wednesday - not 'fake Wednesday' like, um... I thought it was yesterday.

Enjoyed them all, but the first one caused a smile, always a gift. Thanks.
