This week's words are
cajole
recluse
temper
Still smarting from the humiliation of getting one of the words wrong last week. Yikes. In fact, I was so overcome with shame that I failed to post even one single blog post all week. OK, that had more to do with being overworked and overfamilied, but still. Man, I had a HARD time with these words this week. Maybe I should change one of them.
recluse, night pacing
moon's temper of rain-damped smoke
cajole the sunrise
cajole a wan smile
recluse no more, I concede
temper pain with love
cajole, or avenge?
black widow bites brown recluse
freed from his temper

wow, aren't you in Vegas? yet you're still writing - "correct" words or no, I'm impressed
What a giggle - your narrative made me laugh out loud - I do remember, you know! Therefore, the third one is truly well done and my favorite although the others have lovely images as well.
I hated to point it out, but as teh caretaker, I felt it was my duty...
You've redeemed yourself and more. Tough words for haiku.
Your intro made me smile...I like your sense of humor. :~)
The third one was vivid! I enjoyed all of them, though~~
Tough words! I like the second one; you used the words well in that one, I thought.
I like the third one best! Although I'm not sure one spider is better than the other for us...lol.
I like the 2nd one. Keep writing.
If not better the narative was as good as the actual post. :)
I liked all of them, but louuvvhhed the third one. It seems to be a public favourite too (for obvious reasons :) ).
I love the image brought about by the spider bite - well done.
Your hiakus are always amazing: I couldn't dream of making them work. It's a gift you have.
