So beautiful! I am totally jealous. If there is anything I miss about living on the west coast, it is that I don't get to see the sun set over the ocean.
Is it okay to be totally jealous? I mean, that is what you wanted, right?
Moving to Texas, you mean? Yes, it is what I wanted. My grandmother lived in a small town on the Oregon coast while I was growing up (and moved back to that house a year ago). As a little kid, I went to her house almost every weekend. I even thought that the beach we frequented was ours as I hardly ever saw other people beach combing. So seeing a sunset over the ocean (which I've seen hundreds of times) not only reminds me of what I loved about Oregon, but it reminds me of the best part of my childhood.
Can't jealousy sometimes be a good emotion to experience? In this case, I am reminded that change is good, but it comes with a cost.
