South Africa is a beautiful country. I'd avoid Jo'burg, but Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and the coast in between are amazing.
The Honduras vs. USA match looked like a great one. I saw signs posted around the Fruitvale in Oakland advertising a viewing party (there's a fair-sized Honduran immigrant population there.)

I happened to be in Asia when the World Cup was hosted there (a coincidence; I'm not a sports fan.) It was nuts--in a totally awesome way.
