gloom
kneel
transparent
Happy 19th wedding anniversary to my wife. No, not apropos to 3WW exactly, but I figured I should say it.
hypocrites, we kneel
transparent priest prays for us
gloom of man-made church
your voice lights my gloom
thick walls dissolve, transparent
come, kneel next to me
kneel before you? ha!
your gloom and doom are all lies
transparent clothes, gone
Another good trio. Enjoyed the last best. And congrats on the anniversay.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary and thanks for playing 3WW - 73 is a great accomplishment. No favorite this week, all are just a wonderful trio.
ReplyDeletehappy anniversary! as always, great haikus!
ReplyDeleteClever, clever, clever! Love all three!
ReplyDeleteThese were awesome...the first one especially resonated with me. Happy Anniversary to you and your wife!
ReplyDeleteI read it is the 73rd; Congrats on going for so long!!!
ReplyDeleteAll 3 are great reads! Wonderful!
Three great pieces, each as good as the other.
ReplyDeleteSeventy-three 3WW! I've read you for a long time and each haiku you write is worth its weight in gold. Thank you! AND Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! The second one speaks to me, spiritually!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI loved the quirkiness in the rhird one. All were awesome.
nice, these haikus makes me think of marriage and anniversary, since you mention about your 19 wedding anniversary, guess my mind just takes in the things that I shouldn't
ReplyDeleteI like the last one, almost seems like one of those statements you said out loud but really don't mean
Belated happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI loved the first of the trio, because that is how I feel everytime I go to church.
ReplyDeleteI loved that first one. So true..
ReplyDeletea day in a child's life
Happy Anniversary! That first haiku really resonated for me, since I've never quite understood why "the good news" is so often preached in gloomy places and with scare tactics.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice Haikus..
all three were quite beautifully written...
ReplyDeletethe last was the best...
Thank you all for the anniversary wishes! We had a nice dinner out, then celebrated the following day with a birthday party for our older son, who just turned 13.
ReplyDeleteI hope I managed to visit all your pages this week, though I sure have a lot of cracks these days through which things tend to fall.
