haiku wednesday - August 27, 2008

This week's words are
desperate
lapse
traveled

Barely time to think today, let alone play along.

hot, desperate gasps
her hands traveled my body
short lapse; kiss once more

"a lapse in judgment"
desperate to regain trust
she traveled by train

cold, desperate gasps
her spirit traveled away
love's lapse made him snap

  8. I agree with Lissa...1 and 3 are yin and yang. I love how the few simple words describe huge emotions - I never could haiku and I so admire it.
Thanks for your kind words on my post--hope you'll be back.

  11. My wife forwarded these to me. Thought you'd appreciate them.

    Cat Haiku

    You must scratch me there!
    Yes, above my tail!
    Behold, elevator butt.

    The rule for today
Touch my tail, I shred your hand.
    New rule tomorrow.

    Humans are so strange.
Mine lies still in bed, then screams
My claws are not that sharp.

    Cats meow out of angst
"Thumbs! If only we had thumbs!
    We could break so much!"
